Terms and Conditions

Limitation of Liability:

  • Bäckerei is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase or consumption of our products. This limitation of liability applies to damages of any kind, including (but not limited to) direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
  • Customers assume full responsibility for any risks associated with the consumption of our products, particularly those with dietary restrictions or food allergies.

Allergy Information:

  • Our bakery produces products that may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to: nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, and other potential allergens.
  • Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities you may have before purchasing or consuming our products. We encourage you to ask our staff for assistance with selecting suitable products.

Payments:

  • We accept cash and credit card
  • We don't accept local and international AMEX
  • For larger orders where you receive a quote, the money must reflect in our account through EFT before picking up

Product Satisfaction:

  • If you are dissatisfied with any purchase, you may return the product for an exchange. Please return the product with a valid reason for the exchange, and the exchange is subject to our approval.
  • Sending us a picture or bringing in the original always helps.

Pre-Ordering:

  • Pre-Orders must be placed at least one working day in advance before 4PM
  • Orders of QTY>3 for one product should be placed 2 working days in advance
  • For larger pre-orders, please contact anni@backerei.co.za
  • Pre-ordering through the forms and/or in-store products does not guarantee availability. While we strive to fulfill all pre-orders, there may be instances where products are unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances

Not 100% happy?

  • If you pay by cash, please check your change before leaving the store. You can always ask for a receipt in-store.
  • If have any other feedback, please provide the original receipt or proof of purchase when addressing the issue.
  • We take customer feedback seriously and will endeavor to resolve disputes amicably and promptly.

General:

  • We reserve the right to make changes to our products, prices, and terms and conditions without prior notice. This may occur due to market conditions, ingredient availability, price fluctuations, and other factors.
  • By purchasing from our bakery, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth above.
